Hi lovely,

I’ve always believed our surroundings affect us more than we realise.

When life feels busy, cupboards get fuller, drawers become dumping grounds and things quietly pile up.

And sometimes, without even noticing it, all that physical clutter starts to feel like mental clutter too.

So this week, we’re not tackling the whole house. We’re starting very small.

Your ONE THING this week is to:

DECLUTTER ONE SMALL SPACE

Decluttering isn’t about having a perfectly organised home or becoming someone who labels every container in the pantry.

It’s about intentionally deciding what deserves space in your life now.

As we change, we often keep things that belong to an earlier version of ourselves. Clothes we’ll probably never wear again. Products we don’t use. Papers we don’t need. A drawer full of things we keep moving around but never actually use.

Individually, these things seem insignificant. Collectively, they can create visual noise and a surprising amount of mental weight.

Clearing one small space gives you something powerful: a fresh start you can actually see.

You’re saying, “This is what I need now. The rest can go.”

And sometimes letting go physically reminds us that we’re allowed to let go emotionally too.

This week’s practice — EMPTY· DECIDE · RESET

Step 1 — EMPTY

Choose ONE small space.

Not your entire wardrobe. Not the garage. Not the whole kitchen.

Choose one drawer, shelf, handbag, bathroom cupboard or section of your wardrobe.

Take everything out so you can see exactly what’s there.

Step 2 — DECIDE

Pick up each item and ask:

“Do I use this?”
“Do I need this?”
“Does this belong in my life now?”

Keep what serves you. Donate what someone else could use. Throw away what genuinely needs to go.

And notice anything you’re keeping purely because of guilt, habit or an old version of yourself.

Step 3 — RESET

Put back only what you’ve chosen to keep.

Then pause and enjoy the space you’ve created.

Don’t immediately find another cupboard to tackle!

The goal isn’t to exhaust yourself decluttering. It’s to experience how good it feels to intentionally create a little more space around you.

A small reflective coaching question

What am I holding onto simply because it has always been there — and what might become possible if I finally let it go?

Your weekly mantra:

A note from me.

There’s something incredibly satisfying about creating space.

And I don’t think it’s only about the drawer, cupboard or wardrobe.

Every time we intentionally decide what stays and what goes, we remind ourselves that we have choices.

You’re allowed to outgrow things.

You’re allowed to let things go.

And you’re allowed to create space for the life—and woman—you’re becoming.
