Hi lovely,

This week’s ONE THING is simple — but it can genuinely change how your days feel.

Because so many women move through their days on autopilot.

Reacting.
Responding.
Getting through.

And before you know it, the day is over… and it didn’t quite feel how you wanted it to.

After weight-loss surgery, you’re already making so many changes.

But how you feel day to day?
That often gets left to chance.

So this week, we’re changing that.

SET YOUR INTENTION FOR THE DAY

Before your day really begins — pause.

And ask yourself:

How do I want to feel at the end of today?

Calm?
Proud?
In control?
Energised?
At peace?

Now take it one step further:

What would help make that happen?

Because when you don’t choose this intentionally — your day gets shaped by everything around you.

Stress.
Other people.
Unexpected moments.

But when you do choose it — something shifts.

You start making decisions that support that feeling.

You respond differently.
You prioritise differently.
You show up differently.

And that’s where your day really changes.

This week’s practice — CHOOSE · ALIGN · REFLECT

Step 1 — CHOOSE

Before you check your phone, start working, or get pulled into everyone else’s needs — take a moment for yourself.

Choose the feeling you want to come back to throughout the day.

Maybe it’s:

  • calm
  • confidence
  • focus
  • peace
  • gratitude
  • energy

You don’t need to control the entire day.

You just need a direction.

Because when you consciously choose how you want to feel, you stop drifting through the day reacting to everything around you.

You start showing up with more intention — and that changes the way your day unfolds.

Step 2 — ALIGN

Once you know how you want to feel, ask:

“What would support that feeling today?”

Keep it simple and realistic.

If you want to feel calm, maybe you slow your morning down.
If you want to feel in control, maybe you plan your meals ahead.
If you want to feel proud, maybe you follow through on one promise to yourself.
If you want to feel energised, maybe you prioritise protein, movement, or hydration.

This doesn’t need to be a big change.

It just needs to be one choice that matches the feeling you want to create.

Because your day changes when your actions and intentions start working together.

Step 3 — REFLECT

At the end of the day, check in with yourself:

“How close did I get?”

Not to judge yourself.
Not to mark the day as good or bad.

Just to notice.

What helped you feel the way you wanted to feel?
What pulled you away from it?
What would you do differently tomorrow?

This is how self-awareness grows.

And the more you understand what supports you, the easier it becomes to create days that feel less reactive — and more like yours.

A small reflective coaching exercise

If you started creating how you wanted to feel each day…

What would begin to change?

Your weekly mantra:

A note from me.

You don’t need to overhaul everything.

You don’t need to do more.

You just need a little more intention.

Because your days don’t just happen.

They’re shaped — moment by moment — by the choices you make.

And when you start choosing with intention…

You stop just getting through your days.

You start creating them.
